User Management is the module to use to give roles and permissions for each user to access the HALERP system according to their role in the company.


Consider an employee  who is in the procurement department, who has to get access related to Procurement module of HALERP, then we create a user id for the employee and assign a role such that he has access only to Procurement module.


To create User id, go to USER MANAGEMENT->MANAGE USER ACCOUNTS



The Options in "Assigned roles" field in the above form has to be created from Manage User Roles form.


Click on ADD to create the User ID and Password for the employee.

Manage User Roles


To create a User role, Go to User Management->Manage User Roles

Click on Add to create the User role.


All the Active user roles created will be listed in the 'Assigned role' drop down field in the 'Manage User Account' form as shown below.




Once the role is created, permissions for the role has to be assigned


Set Permission for Role


To set up permissions for the role created, go to,  User Management->Set Permissions for role
