1. Introduction


The Bulk Customer Creation screen is used for creating customers in bulk for the company or organization.


To create customers in bulk


Go to Customer>> Bulk Customer Creation>> Create New


Enter Customer Details.

The "Tax Treatment" added for a customer specifies how taxes should be applied to transactions involving that customer. 


These values are typically set in the customer's profile within the business's accounting. Once set, they apply to all transactions involving that customer, ensuring consistent and accurate tax treatment across their interactions with the business.





2. Creating customers in bulk using grid


All customers we are going to add in the grid will have the tax treatment settings applied to them as per the selected tax treatment above.


Click the  + '  icon  in the grid to add a new row. Once the new row is added, select it and enter the number of rows we want to duplicate in the text box.





Once the number entered in the textbox, click the icon next to the textbox and the number of rows entered will get added in the grid.





Then add the customer details either by copying their details from the XL/CSV file and pasting them in the grid or by manually entering here.


The customer provides raw data, which we segment based on receivables and advance/credit. Copy the customer's information from the data provided by the customer and paste them in the grid.







3. Add Receivable for the customer


After separating the customer data, extract the receivables from the file and insert them into the 'Opening Balance' column in the grid and Click ADD to save receivables for the customer.







Once the receivables are pasted in the grid. click ADD, the receivables for the customer will get added. You can view the receivable details for the customer in the Record Receivable screen.





4. Add Advance/Credit for the customer


Extract the customer advance/credit from the total column in the file and paste them into  "Opening Advance Balance " column in the grid. Click 'ADD' to save the customer advance/credit.







Once the Advance/Credit are pasted in the grid. click "ADD", the Advance/Credit for the customer will get added.


You can view the Advance/ Credit details for the customer in the Customer Advances screen.




Bulk Receivable record and Advance/Credit are added for the customer.
