1. Introduction


The Bulk Vendor Creation screen is used for creating vendors in bulk for the company or organization.


To create Vendors in Bulk


Go to Vendors -> Bulk Vendor Creation -> Create New


Enter Vendor Details


The "Tax Treatment" added for a vendor specifies how taxes should be applied to transactions involving that vendor. 


These values are typically set in the vendor's profile within the business's accounting. Once set, they apply to all transactions involving that vendor, ensuring consistent and accurate tax treatment across their interactions with the business.





2. Creating vendors in bulk using grid


All vendors we are going to add in the grid  will have the tax treatment settings applied to them as per the selected tax treatment above.


Click the  ' + '  icon  in the grid to add a new row. Once the new row is added, select it and enter the number of rows we want to duplicate in the text box.





Once the number entered in the textbox, click the icon next to the textbox and the number of rows entered will get added in the grid.





Then add the vendor details either by copying their details from the XL/CSV file and pasting them here or by manually entering here.



3. Add Payables for the vendor


The vendor provides raw data, which we segment based on Payables and Advance/Credit. Copy the vendor's information from the data provided by the vendor and paste them in the grid.








After separating the vendor data, extract the payables  from the file and insert them into the 'Opening Balance' column in the grid and Click ADD to save payables for the vendor.





Once the payables are pasted in the grid. click ADD, the payables for the vendor will get added.

we can view the payables details for the vendor in the Bill Payable screen.





4. Add Advance/Credit for the vendor


Extract the vendor advance/credit from the file, paste them into  "Opening Advance Balance " column in the grid. Click 'ADD' to save the vendor advance/credit.









Once the Advance/Credit for the vendor are pasted in the grid, click " ADD ". The Advance/Credit for the vendor will get added. 


We can view the Advance/Credit details for the vendor in the Vendor Advance screen.





Bulk Payables and Advance/Credit are added for the vendor.
